Discovered O'Reilly's Irish pub simply because it was close to my hotel but was very pleased. The food, both at the bar and in the dining room was very good, ample, and reasonably priced for NYC. A very friendly staff and the regulars were equally hospitable with us touristas. Special kudos to the bartender. He was personable, friendly, and attentive. Visited three very fine Irish pubs near the Empire State Building, but O'Reilly's was the best.

The waitresses can be a little snippy -- especially when it's crowded, as it always is on a Friday. The food is pub fare, but done well, with great burgers and fries. The beer is fresh and the bartenders pleasant. A great place to go for a few beers and a sandwich.

I love O'Reillys Pub. I am always welcomed by the friendly, Irish staff and the food is always a delight. This is a great place to grab lunch or unwind after work before you hit penn station.

Been here countless times on business trips. Good bar food and atmosphere. Staff freindly and service prompt. Food a plenty in dining room and a descent value for the city,

Restaurant was clean and cozy. I had the Yankee Pot Roast special and my wife had the Baked chicken. Both were excellent. the mashed potatoes were fantastic! They were very quick and understanding when my wife asked them to cook her chicken a little longer (she's very particular about her chicken and, honestly, it was a little pink). They gave her a new chicken and new serving of potatoes. I would highly recommend this place for anyone seeking good, traditional American food. Yumm!

We went there for the Irish Pub atmosphere, (I like it) and we weren't disappointed. We just wanted to down some beers, and take in the New York state of mind. The bartender was friendly and polite, and he looked Irish too lol (meaning he could take care of himself if he had too.) We ordered a pitcher of beer and a nice gentleman brought it to our table , but I was shocked to see that he looked Italian like me, What no more irishman here, oh well. Great atmosphere to drink but that pitcher was 16 somethin plus change and a tip, we had too get out or go broke. I guess I'm not used to the big city price.

Great atmosphere, lovely people esp. the waitress katie, make you feel very welcome and made the many nights there enjoyable. Lovely food, such a wide selection and bar men know how to make a good pint of guiness. Loved the place - I'll be going back soon. Richard (South Hampton)
