O'Reilly's has the world's best Shepherd's Pie. I've been to Ireland many times, and I've never had the dish as well prepared as at O'Reily's. It's very large and a great value for the price. It comes with soup or salad and each table is served warm irish soda bread as soon as you sit down. The beer is great, the bar is very fun and the waitstaff is all wondeful friendly Irish people. Try it, you'll love it!

One a one night visit to NYC, I left feeling like an old friend. Mike is a bartender to be proud of and my visit makes me want to return to the City again, soon.

Great place to stop in for drinks & dinner, I try to always stick with Irish Pub\Restaurants or Italian when in Chicago or N.YC on business & I can honestly say this was one of the best, reasonably priced & a fun friendly atmosphere that is very N.Y.C Irish authentic. All though the place & people are very friendly I have found that the off the boat Irish waitress are kind of stiff & bland until you get to know them so don’t take it personal. Highly recommended!!

Visited after reading previous reviews and was satisfied all around. Service was quick, food was nice and hot, and great location to MSG. Next time will try Bar area. $3.50 a soda was a surprise though (no refill) . Should have had a beer at that price.

Discovered O'Reilly's Irish pub simply because it was close to my hotel but was very pleased. The food, both at the bar and in the dining room was very good, ample, and reasonably priced for NYC. A very friendly staff and the regulars were equally hospitable with us touristas. Special kudos to the bartender. He was personable, friendly, and attentive. Visited three very fine Irish pubs near the Empire State Building, but O'Reilly's was the best.
