Great food in walking distance
I've lived in this neighborhood since 1998. You'd have thought before now that there would be a deli/breakfast spot with fresh quality food but until Orange Peel opened I was still stuck with sandwich chains or the regular corner bodega. Don't always want to have to sit down at Lido or Melbas for breakfast or a mid-day sandwich. Orange Peel has become a staple Saturday/Sunday breakfast place for me. The home fries are the bomb and the omlettes are excellent. They deliver as well but I choose to call it in, walk over and pick it up as they are half a block up the street. The owner and staff have always been super friendly every time I go. I hope the neighborhood supports this spot as I don't want them to close. GREAT asset to the hood.
