Don't bother
Not a bad looking place, with decent beer selection - however the food is absolutely unappetizing, in fact inedible. The baked clam appetizer was rotten (literally), salads, ribs and sliders were sub-supermarket/frozen dinner quality. Not cheap either. The only plus is the beer selection, and the personable waitress.

Great new lunch spot
Always looking for additions to the downtown lunch scene, and this has potential to stick & become a regular. A great variety of classics with twists - particularly the buffalo fried calamari & steak sandwich. If you're good with $15 high quality lunch plates, give it a go.

our fave local spot
We love the Open door! we moved downtown recently and can't say enough good things about this place! the menu is great- pub fare- but with a french twist and always happy to please! we love our waitress we have everytime- remembers our names and is so cheerful! Great beers on tap and fun times for all or a great spot for a little dinner party. Check this spot out next time you are downtown- truly great!
