Poor value for money and slow service!
Had a disappointing brunch experience here today. Ordered an omelet and pancakes off the brunch menu, for $13 each. Although our waitress was nice, it took 35 minutes for the food to come out. The omelet came with 1 slice of toast, and there were 3 small pancakes on the other plate. Poor value for money, and extremely slow service besides. Won't be going again!

Great place, good prices
We go here quite often for lunch and it's one of the best places to go on 2nd Ave in the 50's. I usually get the cobb salad, once the burger. Never been disappointed yet and the service has always been quick and nice. Go there to watch the 1pm NFL games this fall. Many good sized tv's ad to the fun atmosphere. Bartender gave us a free beer one day and we weren't even eating at the bar or drinking!

Great Food and a Great Time
Going to Opal kinda made me forget where I was. It's was laid back with great food and friendly waitresses AND not stuffy at all.

best tuna tartar in the city!
Lived in the neighborhood for 3 years and decided to give opal a try! Now my husband and I go there all the time! The food is so amazing...especially the tuna tartar and blackened tuna! The service is great - especially Michelle - she's the best! Definitely reccommend Opal!

Best Burgers
I had the bacon cheese burger it was cooked to perfection and the panninis are great. Freshly made to order hot and crispy

Now delivers. Don't get the burger.
Opal just started delivering and I ordered for the first time after hearing that they have some decent food. I ordered a mushroom cheeseburger and was not impressed. It was extremely salty and had about half a can of mushrooms smooshed onto the top of it. Fries are good. I will try a different item next time.

Fun place to grab good food!!
Young crowd, decent service, fun atmosphere. Anyone (age 17-40) feels welcome there. Very casual... I've never had to wait. Good place to go during the week. Big after-work bar scene but it doesnt get in the way. Menu changed but is still good. Definitely recommended! : )
