I took a girl there for a first date last week. Was an out of this world experience. Im not one for expensive dinners, but I do so on occasion to "taste the high life". It lived up to my expectations. Charming and VERY romantic atmosphere...anyone who disagrees has no style or class. The service was impeccable. Very expensive of course, but what do you expect? The food was great, atmosphere top notch, and service was excellent....you get what you pay for. Will go there again for other precious moments. That place helped set the mood with my date, and we both agree that it was fantastic.

Went here with my parents and girlfriend...intro for gf to 'rents, so needed a fuddy-duddy but not too fydy place as a setting...and that it was...the atmosphere is sort of like a high-end restaurant in new jersey or long island...a little stiff, harmlessly pseudo-pretentious (we all play that game), and all-in-all vanilla and blah. I was excited to try their signature beef wellie, everyone else had the fish...the wellie was very bland - the puff pastry dough would have been better with jam than the loin (i started cursing british "cuisine"), but everyone else loved their fish...i tried it...it was okay. Dessert was forgettable. After we dropped the parents off, i had to stop by a local diner to stimulate my taste buds again... It's definitely a nice neutral environment, though. Not romantic.

Our server was fantastic and really made our night wonderful. The food itself was very good. My seared tuna entree was okay, but my fiance's pork chop was out of this world! But my molten chocolate cake far outperformed my fiance's better looking chocolate souffle. Overall, it was a great experience and I plan on going back, but choose your meal and server wisely.

My husband and I celebrated our 22nd wedding anniversary by having dinner here. It was the most wonderful experience. Our waiter was so attentive, asking us what we were celebrating and congratulating us. He surprised us at the end of dinner with a special anniversary dessert. The food was excellent. The atmosphere was quite romantic. I hope to return there for another anniversary again!

My boyfriend took me there on Our Four Year Anniversary, and it was the most beautiful place in the world. The server could not have been any more polite and generous than he was. I think that every couple should go there at least once. I had a magnificent time. It was worth it. All of it.

My boyfriend took me there for my birthday. The whole night was truly amazing. We got the 7 course tasting menu and obsessed over every bite. We also paired it with the wines, which i wouldn't necessarily suggest because they give you so many reislings and dessert wines and...well wines we didn't want to drink. (and it was another $100). Service was sooo great. It truly is the most romantic restaurant in the world.

We celebrated our anniversary here last Friday and had a great experience. The food was delicious and cooked to perfection. The service was superb. Staff was very attentive and courteous. We had the corner table overlooking the garden and it was just perfect. The restaurant is very intimate and romantic. The piano player just adds to the wonderful atmosphere. Great decor. We will definitely be back!
