A wonderfully authentic Japanese restaurant with a simple, traditional but not your run of the mill Japanese menu. It's Japanese comfy food at its best.

Whenever I come into the city, I make a point to have dinner at Omen. Being Japanese, I'm fairly particular about the food as some restaurants are not run or do not have Japanese chefs that serve the food. That is not the case here. Everyone is Japanes

My boyfriend and I stumbled on this place about a year ago. We are both chef in NYC and we try to find new places off the beaten path. A friend recomended it and we thought that we would give it a try. We are hooked!

Here is a Japanese restaurant that is actually underrated. What a concept! The food is simple, fresh, honest, and elegant. I didn't detect any B.S. here. Wonderful sashimi.
