We were in the area and wanted to eat something fast on the go. Found this place, came in and order 3 shawarmas that cost us $40. $40? Are you for real? Well in the city you can get 4 for this price. Anyways, place look nice from the outside and doesn't look that clean inside. Guy at the register threw my receipt on the top of the garbage can instead of handle it to me. I picked it up and asked if this is their usual way to do business. He just smirked and point me to the manager if I don't like something. At this point we knew there is no reason to talk to the manager. Anyways we were staying and waiting for our food, place was almost empty. 10 minutes later someone finally paid attention to us and ask what we ordered and asked for the receipt that was thrown on the top of the garbage can. We gave our receipt, guy that prepared our food took receipt by his hands without gloves and made our food. At this point I wasn't so sure if I want to eat it. They also gave us plastic containers for the salad. Salads weren't look so good rather old so we barely took anything. Then they asked us what we want on the shawarma and we said that we are for the first time here so please make it as you usually make it. So we had meat and French fries on some home made bread. There was no salt or pepper or any kind of souse at all. So basically for our money we got poor service. Food was edible but not great at all. Stuff was extremely rude and I suspect not clean at all. This is will be our first and last time at this place.

Great food, when very busy service can be a bit slow but still my #1 choice in places to go out to eat in Brooklyn.

Ok so this place has its good days and bad days. But overall it's really good authentic food. The fries are just like in Israel and the kebobs are very good. They make their own laafa but it's not the same since it's mexicans doing it. Hey don't get me wrong they hook it up for me big time whenever I want and it's prepared the way I like it with fries inside my sandwich.

Food quality, excellent. Hummus, Babaganosh, tabbouleh. french fries and Shawarma, All fresh. (Grade A) Atmosphere excellent. Modern clean with a brick pita/la fa oven. Unique . Never saw an oven like that in a Israeli restaurant before. A salad bar with all the middle eastern/ Israeli condiments. Kosher. (Grade A) Value: price $19 for Shawarma in la fa bread. A little high price. (Grade C) Service, slow over half hour to eat. Restaurant was very busy. Waitress was cheeky. (Grade C) Overall quite good. Love the neighborhood. Sincerely The Shawarma Maven J.
