Olympic Flame Diner

Asked the hostest where I could order take out, she motioned in a general direction and didnt offer a menu to order from even after I asked for one. I ordered a wrap from one of the guys behind the bar, sat down started reading, 10 minutes later and nothing. Asked the guy where my wrap was, he looked around and said not yet...then walked over to the counter and instead of yelling out "Grecian Wrap to go" he whispered it. Screwed up the order...fine stuff happens...but then didn't apologize or tell me...hey sorry it will be a good 5 minutes more as we haven't ordered it....so I walked out....won't come back.....plus the food was super-super expensive for a diner...even in NY

I order from this spot at least once a week, they are always very courteous, and very quick. The delivery guys are very polite and sweet. I love good food and great service.

standard diner fare---order delivery from here at least 2-3 times a week and always get my food very quickly. if you are a resident at SLRH this place will be your staple after a long day at the hospital.

This place may not have the most excellent food , but it is excellent for a local diner. Good hamburgers or eggs. Also the deliveries are very quick.

Age plays a major role on how your service will be. I am sixteen years old and should not have this problem. This diner like many other places seems to treat adults with more respect. At times like this, I feel like restaurant and store owners give priority to adults when shopping because they may have more money. Where do they think children get their “diminutive” amount of money? Oh I know…from adults, fancy that. They are quick to serve adults; if they are “short” on cups even if we arrived first the adults seem to be their priority. “May we have some water as well please?” “We don’t have anymore cups.” What diner runs out of cups? And if they have a low supply of cups then it should be first come first serve. Not to mention when you ask for barbeque sauce the waiters quick response is, “if I remember.” I highly doubt this would be her response if my father or any other adult would ask her.

Average at best... Good service, but the food is a little over priced for what you are getting. Your typical neighborhood diner, which is good to have, but nothing special.
