O'Lunney's Rocks
My friend Brian had never been outside of Orlando, FL. He is Irish and born on St. Patty's Day, which was the sole purpose of this trip. We had just checked in and were wandering around looking for a good watering hole to get this trip started right. We were drawn to O'Lunney's by some mysterious force. That force was our waitress. As soon as we sat down she made us smile and feel like we belong. She kept our glasses full and the smiles on our faces with her warmth, sense of humor and great attitude. She even saved us from two extremely hammered and flirtatious women who were looking for young men to take back to their lair. Kara was the reason we kept coming back and will go back each time we re-visit the NYC.

Awesome...
Having reached our hotel after a long flight, it was disturbing to NOT see O'Lunneys across the street. Our concierge eased our plight by informing us that they had simply relocated one street over, onto W45th. Showered and changed in minutes, we descended on the new look O'Lunneys and were not disappointed. Same great atmosphere, good selection of drinks and the same craic as always with the bar staff. We frequented O'Lunneys every day during our stay for either lunch, early evening drinks, evening meal and even on one occasion all three! Trying hard to think of a down side, the pricing on the menu seems a tad excessive, however it matters little with a place of this quality. See you next time!

Perfect for everyone!
Lots of GOOD food for a decent price (considering you're in NYC) Warm, cozy, casual atmosphere. Nice variety of offerings on the menu so everyone should find someting they like! Our waitress went out of the way to find information on a music store for us, too. Ate here 12/2005 with my two teens, and we look forward to going back again.

Perfect!
I consider O'Lunney's the best pub/bar I've met in US. Half pub and half restaurant, TVs shows nice sport images. The service is 100%; food is wondeful. Ask the irish soap. with cheese. The owners are very kind and everyone feel very well, like at his (or her) home. And the very cold Guiness beer!... No more adjectives. In resume: I intend to return to NY (and USA) due, in part, O'Lunney's .

It was good
What can I say about a place like O'Lunneys. The bartenders are great, the wait staff is great, the atmosphere is awesome, the food is great, and the price tag is well moderate for the city. My only problem is the last time I went which was 2 weeks ago, my favorite pub with my favorite wings and my wonderful guinness was well borded up, I hope their renovating but I have no clue. If you're a tourist, or live in the area check them out, but call in advance to see if they are still open.

A Favorite place
O'Lunney's Times Square Pub was the first place we stumbled upon once we arrived in new york. It was pretty late when we got there so we decided to take a walk down times square. This little pub reminded me of being home (which was so nice since I hadn't been home in months) It was a perfect place to unwind and cap off our evening. I look forward to returning to this place! I MISS U NEW YORK
