O'Lunney's

I love this place. I have to go everytime I am in Times Square. As a matter of fact I will be there tomorrow. The food is great, the drinks are never watered down and the atmosphere is fun and inviting. If you havent been you must go.

We went to this place twice while in NYC and loved it both times. I had the special: steak salad, it was fantastic. The atmosphere is great and the drinks are some of the cheapest you will find in times square.

Great place! If I was a NewYorker I would be a regular? Fish&Chips, hash (eggs a bit overdone and bangers&mash were yummy! (Shepard's pie almost ok.) Went Thanksgiving day for lunch...was still hoping the stew (thurs special) was still on but the had a nice turkey/brisket thing going on... Would not have found it if not for MP!!! (thanks all!) Would definitely go again!

When you come to Manhattan and have literally hundreds of restaurants to chose from, I don't see any reason to choose this one. The bread was stale. My entree was bland. The service was ok and the meals were on our table immediately. The price was low, especially considering the location. But in the end you have to serve good food, and I was really disappointed with the tasteless, unattractive meal I was served and won't be back. One thing I must mention was I did receive a tastey, perfectly poured Guinness.

Visited this bar/restaurant last weekend with my family. Must say the service was outstanding but the food was very disappointing... Although the restaurant wasn't busy the entrees were cold...... I had the chicken dish with mashed potato........Cold mashed potato I might add...Seemed to have sat in the kitchen a little too long. May go back for drinks again but will definately eat elsewhere.

We went on a late Saturday afternoon and the restaurant was only half full. The food was excellent with some unusual dishes that we tried and loved. O'Lunney's is moderately priced and you get a lot of food for the money. Nobody could finish their food. Try the squash soup if it is available, it 's excellent. Service was great and it isn't on the tourist list, which makes it a relaxing and enjoyable place to eat.

I took a girl on our first date here after seeing a Broadway show. The food is really top-notch and the atmosphere is very soothing. Extremely high ceiling, good cold tones, and the music isn't too loud. I would say that the seating was a little bit too close together, but for a mid-town restaurant it wasn't bad. I had the Pork Chops the first time I went and I plan on going again tomorrow with the same person.
