I'd eaten here once, and found it a decent value, so went back when I wanted something to go. The woman at the register was extremely unfriendly - she was chatting on her phone the whole time, then charged my debit card for the wrong order - which cost ten times the amount of my 8 dollar shrimp lo mein. I understand that people make mistakes, but she didn't even apologize, and acted like I was being ridiculous for being upset. I canceled my order and left without my food. Fortunately, my bank was able to cancel the charge that night

I had lunch at Ollie's on Bway & 68th today and the biggest impression was how rude the servers were. My server took my order and was downright rude when I asked 2 questions, then disappeared for most of the meal. Afterwards I noticed other guests complaining about the service and the reaction from the - yes, manager - and other servers was almost gleeful, as if they enjoyed the customer reaction to their rudeness. My food was drowned in grease. Never again.

My boyfriend and I enjoy the convenience and fast service of the food. However, we would go there more often and spend $10 or more per person if those snotty cashiers can be a little bit more friendly. I do not need extra care but a decent 'THANK YOU' after we paid would be sufficient.

Been eating this for the past 14 years and it's some of the best Chinese delivery in the city. Food is great, hot, ample portions and often arrives so fast you'll think that you just hung up the phone from making your order. Unfortunately, most of the delivery guys are pretty surly and even though they offer "free delivery" they'll often snarl at you if you don't tip them at least four or five bucks, regardless of the size of the order.

It baffles me when I see how crowded this place gets. Today was my last visit. And whoever thinks this is the typcial Chinatown experience is an idiot. Or just hasn't had decent food with - you know, like FLAVOR???

reading some of the reviews below, it's clear folks don't get it - this is very much "chinatown-style" dining. that means: super fast, great at the basics, excellent dumplings, brusque service (it's not personal, ok?), and it's not the Four Seasons. the appetizers include some more exotic items not found at your typical uptown chinese restaurant - i highly recommend their array of dim sum specialties. prices are very reasonable, and you can go very fast (movie theater across the street!) or take your time, up to you.

Avoid this place if you want a pleasant, peaceful dinner. Some of the food is edible, but that is not what you will remember. The waitstaff is rude. This place only processes people. If you must go I'm warning you, gulp your food as fast as possible and get out of there. BTW don't consider not leaving a tip. One time I got up to leave and left no tip. The waitress yelled gratuities not included! Gee I never would have thought of that.
