    Not Bad, Not Great

In and out in about 45 minutes tops, so if you need to eat and run, it never fails. As for an issue of a culinary experience, it's not. It is, however, fast food Chinese with a setting that's a notch or two above the ones you may be hesitant to enter. The waitstaff likes to turn their tables over fast, so if you want to avoid being pushed out, keep your utentils in your hand---lay them down and you'll be asked if you are done.

    One good dish

We found one good dish-- the chicken and yellow leeks. It's a really good authentic Chinese dish that is healthy. We haven't found anything else that is healthy and also w/ no msg.

Not for people who know chinese

We pass by the restaurant many times and it seems to be busy most of time. We decided to try last week. They delivered very quickly. The portion was big for the cost. However, it is not recommended for people who know real chinese food. It was disappointing and we would rather pay more for better food.

    Good enough

The food is good enough, the serice is cool at best, if you get the food delivered it comes as soon as you put down the phone, the food is cheap and you get what you pay for, unless you want to pay 100 at shun lee this is the only place to eat chinese on the upper west side.

Never had bad service, some great food

--and I'm a tough critic on both counts! Service is efficient and polite. I don't know if folks object to non-simpering service or what. They've always treated me with respect. And the delivery people are speedy and nice. Not everything on the menu is good--but the dim sum-type dishes, most of which are listed on the appetizers menu, are well executed. You can only get the white radish "pancakes" (they're actually more like these rectangular blocks) while dining in, which is sad. The steamed little juicy buns aren't as good as ones you get in Chinatown or on the street in Beijing--but they're mighty passable. Definitely not bad for the area.

    Good Food!

The food is really good at a pretty cheap price! Service is okay - depending on the night. Definitely head there for a quick bite before seeing a movie.

    Warm food, cold service

I love the food at this place, but the service leaves you cold. From the moment you make contact with their staff at the entrance, you feel like you are walking into a paramilitary operation. The staff doesn't smile and half of them seem to be walking around with walking talkies! Like I said, I like the food, but the service, well, inscrutable.
