    What happened?

Use to love Ollie's, but haven't ordered in a long time. How can you mess up soup? The roast pork wonton noodle soup with Mai fun noodles was tasteless ! My husband ordered from another Chinese restaurant and I had to add some if his sauce to give the soup flavor! I'm so disappointed! I'll stick to my noodle shop in Chinatown.

Agree with previous post from Washington heights

Don't understand negative reviews, especially since choices here are so limited. I find food tastier than what you can find in most places up here and their shrimp and mango in garlic sauce is a star

    Surprised

I'm surprised by the negative reviews on this page. We live in Washington Heights and often order from Ollie's because the quality is so much better than what we get here. It gets here quickly and the staff has always been prompt and respectful. We haven't eaten in the restaurant so maybe the take out is better than eating in?

    Absolutely poor

As a long time resident, I have eaten here over many years dam know the area well. It used to be ok, but now it's just completely shoddy - the quality, the service. Even when I ask for less oil, the food still comes out very greasy. The noodles and chow fun lacks flavor and same with the roasted meats. And did I mention greasy? The service, as others have noted, is also very poor, in delivery and when i talk to them on the phone. When Americans look down on Chinese food, places like this is they reason why.

    The poorest delivery service

The food is very greasy and the service is subpar. The delivery guy was very belligerent and insisted on a tip and proceeded to take my menu away from me implying that i shouldnt order from there again. This is the poorest service I have ever received. Save your money it isnt worth it

Better places, unless you're in a pinch

This place is no longer open until 2AM, which rules them out as a decent late night option. Unfortunately, their food doesn't stack up with other Chinese food places that have similar hours--it's less flavorful and, amazingly, both greasier and drier--so I rarely order from here anymore. Besides, one of their often-used delivery men rapidly rings the door bell before you open it, which is obnoxious.

    Not recommended

I hate to write this because I literally grew up on Olliie's from the old location in the 80s. This is not the same food AT ALL. The only thing worth getting from here is one of the noodle soups if you are feeling sick. Otherwise avoid this greasy, sloppy food.
