Not great
I thought MSG stood for Madison Square Garden! Food was only so-so. The fried rice was the best and orange chicken was pretty average. The sauces were heavy and starchy tasting.

Poor service
It's so upsetting when we go to this specific restaurant. The food is freaking awesome but the waiters are absolutely the worst. They mixed up our drinks and orders and when me and my friend split the bill, the bills had different amounts instead if an equal amount. Then the waiter had the nerve to ask for a bigger tip. I was appalled. I don't know why we keep subjecting ourselves to this type of service. I know!!! It's CuZ the food is so good.

Great food, RUDE service
I am continuously disappointed with the service in this restaurant. The food is great which is the only thing that keeps me coming back. Every waiter/waitress is completely rude, ignores the customers, or tells you they simply can't make/give you food in a certain way. I continue to tell people how poor the service is.

Your best Chinese choice in West Harlem
What's with all the negative reviews? I've had great luck with Ollie's. Compared to your average Chinese takeout spot, I'm very impressed by the quality of the ingredients—crisp vegetables instead of mush, big pieces of real garlic, and sauce that has more depth than just "brown gravy." It's still takeout, so no, it's hardly authentic. But I wouldn't expect it to be this far north. In Harlem, it's easily the best Chinese takeout you can find. If you want the real thing, you need to head down to Chinatown. Otherwise, Ollie's is a pretty yummy alternative.

Avoid this place
As a student at Columbia this was one of the few choices of "decent" food around here. The food is extremely greasy an the service is poor. Most people whi work there treat you like they were giving fiod away for free. If you can fis any other place to have a meal I would strongly suggest you avoid this place

Forget the average reviews, I love the place
Honestly this place crushes the competition as far as food goes and they give you a lot of food for your money. I loved it. the fried rice and curry soup are really great (but cliche) choices, one of my fav places to eat

Okay food... poor delivery
The food's alright...it fills the belly and hits the spot. I only order the lunch specials so it's relatively inexpensive. The "spicy" options lack spice, but they are definitely flavorful, which I like. I only order to pick up the food myself because anytime I have to deal with the delivery guy, I nearly have to tell him off to take what he gets and get away from the door. He's incredibly rude. Even if I give a generous tip, he'll always ask, "That's it??". One would think that in the industry where tipping is really optional and not required, he should be happy that he gets anything at all. Really because any delivery item I order is no more than a 5 to 10 minute walk away at most. I highly recommend picking up the food yourself if you can so that you won't have to deal with this guy.
