    good value

olive vine is an all around great place to have in the neighborhood. they let you BYO for dining in and the atmosphere is super relaxed. for take out, the service is friendly and comes in good time. the vegetarian food is always great and fresh.

    Good takeout staple

Nothing brilliant here, but a reliable tasty, healthy takeout joint. Not sure if they still have BYO, but if so, a bargain for a few beers and a backyard feed.

Delicious food and service with a smile

I go here all the time and the food is amazing. The portions are generous and the prices are very affordable. I've eaten everything from the garden salad, assorted salads, falafel, pizzas, and the platters everything is excellent. The service is exceptional, the servers are always very helpful and you never have to wait long. They've made changes to the decor that makes you feel like you're in the Middle East. And the waiter is very cute too!!

    the wait was worth it

we got delivery. the wait was longer than expected but the food was better than expected. it wasn't a particularly long wait, but was definitely slower than most (who say 30 minutes and then show up in 15). we waited about 30 minutes. the food was delicious though! they give generous servings and it tastes exceptional. we didn't realize how much food we were in for and ended up with an entire order left over. we got the hummus and chicken platter with lentil soup, grape leaves, and a falafel. hummus was excellent (although i'm one to think you can't really go wrong with hummus), chicken seasoned fabulously, lentil soup not what i expected but still delicious (it's like a puree, with no whole lentils), grape leaves were amazing, and falafel pretty standard, good but huge.

    Not good

I ordered take out from here last night. I had the lamb sandwich, the chicken sandwich, foule salad, bulgur, and baklava. The sandwich was fairly small - mostly lamb and raw onion, and a few scraps ot tomato. Somehow, they managed to make it both dry (I think it was overcooked) and greasy at the same time. The foule salad consisted of a pile of scallions, a smaller pile of chopped tomato, and about 7 fava beans. The bulgur was pretty tasteless. The only redeeming item in my order was the chicken sandwich, which was actually good. Even the baklava was very thin and very greasy, and, to top it off, it had two big thumbprints in it. Needless to say, I will never go back, and would recommend my friends to stay away. I heard that the food here was good...maybe the management changed since they ate there. All this, and it was overpriced.

    Great food

We went there after visiting the Botanical Gardens. The food is absolutely superb - Fresh Pita breads, great babaghanouz, fresh spinach pie. Highly recommended.
