    Poor service

I've given this place two chances and both have been equally disappointing. The first time we waited almost an hour for our pizzas and finally found out that our server forgot to place our order. Received no apologies when they finally arrived. The second time we waited 20 min for our bottle of wine and finally walked out. Too noisy, poor service and doughy pizza.

Keste has nothing to worry about...

I was excited about this place, but was disappointed with the pizza. Keste is worth the wait.

    Great Napolitan Pizza

If you are into Napolitan pizza style - this is the place to go. Great and delicious pizzas. Gets crowded around 7-8pm which means the good word has spreaded around. Service gets slow at full house therefore one should go there before 7pm or after 8:30pm. Also, a bit too noisy at peak time, but I have that problem with all busy establishments. All in all definitely worth a visit for the great pizzas.

    Disappointed

Hostess ignored me for 15 minutes while she wandered around the room, had a drink at the bar; even though restaurant not busy. Finally asked me what I wanted after I helped myself to a menu. Ended up eating at bar and bartender was fine. Pizza was okay but very doughy. There are better pizzas with better service in NY.

happy to have olio in the 'hood!

I have been to a couple of pizza places like this recently and usually the hype of the restaurant was way better than the food. Well, this is not the case for Olio. This time, the food was even better! We ordered the Diavlo Pizza and the Extra Margherita Pizza and they were both amazing - the crust was the perfect texture. The pizza was also perfectly salty and just so good. I can't wait to go back!

    A Winner!

You may think that the last thing the Village needs is another pizza place, but Olio is a welcome addition. The atmosphere is lovely, as are the Italian waiters! The pizza is very good and the toppings are generous. Prices are a bit high, but you get what you pay for.
