Love Yeah Shanghai
I have been going here off and on for the last three years. I love their over rice dishes which are only $3.95 their juicy pork buns (dumplings) are always fresh and yummeee and the service is always smooth and friendly. Everything seems freshly prepared and the prices are so cheap that they are an incredible deal. Also, the atmosphere is not bad either and there is usually a good mix of folks -- everyone from the tourist families to couples.

good food...poor service
Let's just say, if it weren't for the food, I would not go back. In fact, I am sometimes hesitant to go when considering where to eat. Their soup dumplings are tasty though.

Authentic Shanghai food in Chinatown
I have eaten here alone, with a small group, and with a group of 20. Each time the good was great. The banquet meal (priced per table of 10) is very well prepared and served at a reasonable pace. There was a lot of food and it was much better than expected. Highly recommended dishes are the Whole Flounder with filleted pieces of fish in a seaweed laced deep fried batter, braised pork shoulder and pork and crabmeat dumplings, often known as soup dumplings, to rival Joe's Shanghai. Cash only, but worth the effort.
