hummm.....
Went in for lunch special during the week. Since it's a Sichuan restaurant. I opted for one of the basics from this region, Mabo Tofu. It's a soft tofu with spicy sauce. Sichuan is famous of numbing peppercorn that I love. It literary numbs your taste bud and gives a wonderful sensation. Mostly Sichuan peppercorns are in spicy dishes from Sichuan region but not this place. Mabo Tofu had no depth of flavors except heat from red pepper only. I looked around and found may ordered soup dumpling. Maybe that is what's good in this restaurant.....?
