great deli
not sure what the last reviewer is talking about - Old Bridge is still there, in business, thriving. This is the perfect deli - tons of options - great salad bar, sandwiches, pizza, sushi, grill, juice bar - they have everything.

Great Until....
...this place was great...until I got there this morning and saw the big orange "SEIZED" sign on the front, and the letter from the IRS stating that the property had been seized....damn shame :-(

Good Food
The food is great, however the service, depending on the time of day is extremely slow. If you are ordering something from the grill it usually takes about 10 minutes to make.

The Best Deli in NYC
This is truly the best deli in NYC and the world. I've been a loyal Old Bridge customer for more than 4 years since I first started working and living in the area. Here's why: 1) Sandwiches are made to order the way YOU want -- they'll put anything on the sandwich that you ask for (and they've got it all) 2) Sanwiches are made right in front of you - so you can monitor / request the amount of a given ingredient on your sandwich 3) Prices are fantastic -- all the other sandwich shops nearby charge singificantly more for standard, pre-made sandwiches 4) The guys who make sandwiches are pros -- most are tenured for more than a year (I know because I've come here for 4 years) 5) Fast service - since these guys have been making sandwiches so long they know how to make a sandwich quickly 6) Friendly service 7) Plenty of other options -- though I've spoken mostly about sandwiches they also have sushi, pizza, an entire wall with snack foods, beverages, and fresh fruit. This place is truly a treasure. If you're in the area, please do your best to enjoy it!

Old Bridge? I love it!
What a great deli, in my opinion! Great variety... you can get just about ANYTHING there! I'm not an open buffet kinda gal but everything there is kept so clean and looks so good that I couldn't resist! Very tasty food and they seem to keep everything fresh. Good prices and definitely worth every penny that I spent there this summer since I worked in the area. As far as service, I thought the workers were nicer than average (especially the sandwich guys), and the cashiers do a great job at keeping the traffic moving. Clean, well kept seating upstairs with windows so you can enjoy the "view" as you eat. I honestly miss this place now that I'm no longer in the city. If you go, definitely try the buffet and grab a sandwich! Good stuff :-)

Poor attitudes - bad for business
Sandwichs are good. Lines are long but twice have run into seriously poor attitudes from workers, for no apparent reason. Its not like there are not a thousand other places to go.

I frequently eat here and...
Since they re-built the place, it is not more efficient on the line - a frustration at busy times - but, they added a fan-tastic sushi & korean food counter. You can get jap-jae, or bi-bim-bop at this deli and it is both delicious and filling. The sushi is ok, especially for an American fast-food type place that doesn't specialize. The hot food bar is standard, and well-kept. And sandwiches, well, everyone wants one. For the variety, and the cleanliness, I think it is worth the money and the wait usually. Just try to get there right at noon, or go later around 2:00 to avoid the crush of lunch-seeking midtown worker bees.
