Went there for Easter Dinner. The service, atmosphere AND the food was incredible! We enjoyed the entire experience. Can't wait to go again and sample the regular menu!

Fresh and perfectly prepared is almost an understatement. Accompaniments are consistently delicious and meat entrees are also special...I love the lamb dishes. The eggplant dip is light, nuanced, and the best I've ever tasted. Service is not only impeccable, it's warm and sincere. The waitress is a jewel of a human being; she's also great at recommending Greek wines that pair up extremely well. I'd venture that we'd dined at Okeanos at least 20 times and never a disappointment. Simply put....go, you'll go again and again.

We came here for our Valentines Day date and it was wonderful! Excellent food, very attentive service and large portions made the price worth it. We would definitely recommend this place to anyone looking for good food, atmosphere, and service.

There are not many Greek options in Park Slope, so Okeanos is a nice option. What stands out most about this place is the staff- always very friendly, and incredibly attentive. The food is fine, but really nothing special. The lamb sausages were undercooked, and the eggplant dip was bland. The Greek salad was authentic and incredibly fresh, however. The tzatziki was a little heavy for my taste, I prefer it to have more cucumber, less garlic, and less fatty yogurt. But that's more of a personal choice. Still, the prices are very good for such a nice atmosphere. If they upped the ante on the food, it could be worthy of 5 stars.

Just got a NY strip and greek salad. Steak was excellent and cooked exactly medium rare has requested... The greek salad is really good too.

I had heard Okeanos was good and it is hard to find a really nice greek restaurant (i.e. not a diner) in NYC. The food was delicious and the sea food so fresh and tender. Excellent service - the kind of attentive but discreet service you expect in a highend Manhattan restaurant, not in Park Slope. Wine list a little limited and pricey by the bottle for the neighborhood but that is a small sacrifice for the overall quality of Okeanos. Definitely will go back.

My husband and I attended a Christening celebration for a baby cousin and were delighted by the food and service at Okeanos. From the bread and delicious spreads, to the fresh salads, to the main course, and finally the desserts, everything was delicious. And the service was so gracious it was almost as though the owner and staff were part of our family. A great place to have a party.
