Oka Sushi (CLOSED)

3 roll lunch special including salad or soup is only $12.00! I work in the area, and out of all the sushi places i've ordered from this place is amazing! I do not order from any other restaurant! Wait staff is a bit cold however, service is good and quality of food is amazing!

if you have a small budget, this is the place for you. there are more expensive items, and if you're starving it might be best to carry $15 including desert and a drink. my boyfriend and i ordered an appetizer (chicken and scallion rolls- 6 of them for maybe 5 or 6 bucks), i had sweet potato rolls (AMAZING, with a bit of crunch on the rim), and he had spicy crunch, which he liked. for desert we had mochi ice cream in green tea, which was delicious. i'm not one for trying new things, but this was definitely worth it. i left feeling very satisfied (but then again i don't have a voracious appetite). altogether, with water as drinks, we had spend about $22. as soon as we entered we had a waitress seat us, and the employees were very friendly. the place is very cozy, with dim lighting, white porcelain-like dishes, lit candles, and very nice furniture. when im in lower manhattan again, i'll be sure to have another meal. i really enjoyed myself!

Food is ok however be prepared for rude staff. They are unpleasant and make you feel unwelcome. Despite the fact they advertise accepting credit card payments, this is not the case when you try to pay, they demand cash payment.

Fresh, great tasting fish. Generous amounts of fish in the rolls w/o a ton of rice....excellent. Quality sashimi. Quick delivery too :)
