Oh Mammamia (CLOSED)

My husband and I just had lunch on Sunday. The restaurant was quite empty, but intimate. We were given cold and stale bread. We ordered a diet coke and lemonade, which came right away, but they were tiny glasses with mostly ice, and way too expensive. 45 minutes later, we got our pizza and gnocchi, which were both delicious, but still extremely expensive. This would be a great place if they had bigger glasses, less ice, FRESH warm bread, faster food prep, and cheaper prices.

We used to love this restaurant. Food was good. We recommended a lot of people to this restaurant. An out of town visitor bought us a gift certificate from here but when we presented it to the manager she told us it was no longer good because the previous manager was fired. Also, no air conditioning.

The pizza is fresh, not too greasy, and absolutely delicious. As a long time pizza eater, I have tried most of New York City's pizza restaurants. This is, however, by far in my top 3 favorite pizza restaurants of all time!

Food here used to be great, now it is unappetizing. Had the chicken parmesan delivered. Its seemed as though someone took it out of the freezer and put it in the microwave. i spoke to manager who was not helpful and told me i was wrong. He then said he would send me a new one. i didnt want another disappointing chicken parm so i told him to send me something else but he refused. i will never order or eat in this restaurant ever again.

I came in for a pickup. Manager was a total jerk. Kept lying to me about when the food would be ready. food was ready 40 minutes late. Completely messed up my order twice. Manager said "we're busy. Thats the way it goes." No apology.

Ordered the mammamia pizza and the fried artichoke app. It came pretty quickly. Which is not saying much being that I live right down the street. Pizza arrived completely soggy. The whole crust was literally soaking wet and my wife bit into a piece of plastic on one of the slices. The pie was so tiny, I could have eaten it by myself. Fried artichoke salad was pretty good. Needless to say I won't be ordering from here again. Guess I'll just stick with Patsy's. They've never let me down. I'm still hungry. Now what?

I dropped in to this casual restaurant two years ago and have been a steady customer since day one. Great value, good selection and consistent service and quality make Oh Mamamia outstanding!
