Great Food but unusual service.

Odessa serves great Ukrainian (NOT Russian) cuisine. The potato pancakes are definitely a must. NOt as good as Veselka, but it's up there.

Odessa is cheap, but the food is nothing to write home about, in my opinion. Not great or horrible, just okay. It is open 24-7, which is a big plus!

I have eaten in the Odessa for the last 20 years and if I knew that I was going to have my last meal, it would be here! The food is wonderful, portions are large, service is quick and friendly plus it's in the east village so you get a floor show just being there! You will never regret trying this restaurant. I live in the Bronx and make the trip here whenever I want a relaxing, enjoyable meal.

Odessa is the kind of play one goes when you cannot decide what you want, but you know you want good food for a low price. A step above diner-food, I've eaten here many times with few complaints. One of the prime advantages is the fact that they have TWO restaurants, one is sort of a cafe/bar, while the restaurant is self-explanatory (though i think the restaurant has more of a menu selection). The waitstaff is pretty good, and the food comes in large portions for an extremely reasonable price. Highly recommended.

I have had mnay experiences at Odessa, although I am not from the area. I meet friends there many times a year to have lunch and coffee. The service is good and it is in a conveinent location. The food is of all types, but breakfast is my personal favorite. It's a very relaxed environment, and I'll alwys go back b/c I have never had a bad experience.
