Blintzes
The blintzes are out of this world- they aren't on the menu but ask for them and the waitress will know exactly what you're talking about and get them to you right away! SO GOOD.

Dine in or delivery...
...either way Odessa is great. If you just need some easy and cheap eats from a greasy spoon this is the place. If you are feeling Eastern European try one of the combination plates for a dinner.

Odessa, the classic LES diner
There isn't much to say. I eat here at least 2x weekly. It's a great diner - there are two Odessas - Odessa "Dark" and Odessa "Light" - you can take your choice on vibe. Odessa "Dark" is my favorite. It's like time traveling to 1978 when NYC was really cool. Food is above average-diner food. Service is always way better than even high-end restaurants because these guys are there to serve you, not be seen by a casting agent. Long live Odessa.

If diners are your thing
Awesome French toast ala challa bread I crave their cheese pierogis all the time. Yet their burger meat is low grade = their bathrooms; avoid them..you've been warned .....

Can't cook bacon and eggs
The bacon is burnt, the eggs runny and the toast always underdone. Why can't they get an order right, just once?

Odessa rules!
it's for sure the best late nights spot in the east village. the price is great and the food is fresh and tasty! PS: make sure you order the stuffed cabbage, it's amazing....

we love it!
one word: homemade! its a diner, its reliable, its delicious food, its comforting, its avenue a at its least pretentious, its always got a table for you, its never going to kick you out for only ordering a cup of soup and water and stay for two hours, its cheap, its nourishing, its a place to bring your parents who are scared of new york, its a place to bring your girlfriend if you want to make her think you are cool, its odessa!
