Hit or miss diner in the East Village. Delivery (especially if you order on Seamless) can be very slow. My last order was a burger deluxe. The burger was tiny and cold! I fries that were sent was an embarrassingly small portion and they were soggy!

Where else is there? Odessa is the best.

The blintzes are out of this world- they aren't on the menu but ask for them and the waitress will know exactly what you're talking about and get them to you right away! SO GOOD.

...either way Odessa is great. If you just need some easy and cheap eats from a greasy spoon this is the place. If you are feeling Eastern European try one of the combination plates for a dinner.

There isn't much to say. I eat here at least 2x weekly. It's a great diner - there are two Odessas - Odessa "Dark" and Odessa "Light" - you can take your choice on vibe. Odessa "Dark" is my favorite. It's like time traveling to 1978 when NYC was really cool. Food is above average-diner food. Service is always way better than even high-end restaurants because these guys are there to serve you, not be seen by a casting agent. Long live Odessa.

Awesome French toast ala challa bread I crave their cheese pierogis all the time. Yet their burger meat is low grade = their bathrooms; avoid them..you've been warned .....

The bacon is burnt, the eggs runny and the toast always underdone. Why can't they get an order right, just once?
