Well, exquisite applies more to my date. However, this restaurant was great. I used MP to find a sushi restaurant, and this one didn't have relative negative feedback. I say relative, because I discounted the delivery feedback as I was dining in and not getting take-out. The staff was pleasant and attentive. The sushi arrived promptly after ordering and was perfect. I definately recommend Ocha, and will go back again.

nothing overly special but excellent sushi, service, and value. Great place for a "normal" sushi night. A surprising gem in the tourist trap of restaurant row

After going to so many NYC restaurants with just awful service, I was very pleasantly surprised at Ocha! The staff was very polite, accommodating (we needed forks!), and prompt. They weren't overly attentive so as to get in the way of the meal, but were just perfect. The restaurant is small but not crowded a nice cozy place. Everything seemed very clean (even the bathrooms). The food was goodI had the beef negimaki and it was quite tasty friends had some sort of fried tofu with sesame saucealso very good. Portions were appropriately sized and priced as well. All in all, a very pleasant experience, and I would recommend this restaurant!

Food/fish/service is consistently very good and properly priced. It is always empty for some reason. Would hate to see it go out of business

I ordered dinner delivery to work tonight, and I was less than thrilled. The shrimp and vegetable tempura was decent, but the sushi rolls (california and salmon avocado) were wimpy. Not much rice, not much fish, skinny little things. Fish tasted okay but not nearly as good as some other places with the same price. Wasn't a waste of money but I won't order from here again.

The Sushi here is acceptable, not wonderfull, not bad, and most importantly, not pricey. You MUST get the Bento Box if you're going for dinner, there is no better deal- a delicious three course meal for $14 (that's right, not the $16 quoted on the online menu). Of course, if you just want sushi, you'll be paying a little bit more, but nothing outrageuos. The service was slightly more friendly than typical Manhattan servie, but just as quick and accurate (not that I could imagine how they screw up an order for two people, but you know that somehow they could). I would definitely recommend, and see myself going back.

to whom it may concern: i eat at ocha at least twice a month. it's not the greatest sushi, but its definitely not sushi from a grocery store in the burbs. they deliver quickly too! enjoy ocha.
