The best Russian food on Brighton Beach
It is wonderful. The atmosphere brings us back to 90's. The food is very good. Especially pea soup!

Great food at reasonable prices!
Great homemade Russian food and reasonable prices. Everything is always fresh and delicious! My personal favorites are the fried flounder and lobster bisques. My husband likes the lamb chops and harcho soup. The menu (both in Russian and English) offers a wide range of choices so it's easy find something you like. The best past is -you can't miss; everything are all good.

a no no place
this is affordable place but for the quality and quantity of food you will get, this can be considered to be overpriced. Find someplace else!

Unpleasant
Everything was very oily with weird taste which had nothing to do with real Russian/Ukrainian food. Will never be back again.

Lunch is great, family or friends
I have been going back to Ocean View Cafe for years. Food is as authentic as it gets with a wide variety of dishes from Russia, Ukraine and Caucasus. Great appetizers include herring, cold meats, Ocean salad and of course vareniki and pel'meni. I would definitely recommend this place for lunch with friends or family who want to try some authentic Russian cuisine.
