a great meal for fixed price
We went during restaurant week. Though it was very busy, we were seated almost immediately, at the time we had reserved. The place was crowded and noisy, yet not so loud that we weren't able to talk. We all chose from the fixed price menu, and we were all very happy with everything from the appetizers to the deserts. The service was efficient and non-obtrusive. Only one complaint about that: we weren't asked if we wanted coffee. They probably figured we wanted to spend the 35 bucks and no more. The important thing was the food, which was fresh and tasty, and of large enough portions, and of course, artistically presented. For good seafood, the value was pretty good, but again, this was restaurant week.

subpar
Went during restaurant week. Though we had a reservation for 9pm, we didn't get seated until 10:30. The food was so-so. I ordered off the regular menu: Goat Cheese Salad. Too many beets, and not as good as other places. Mahi-mahi was decent piece of fish, but nothing special. They did give complimentary calimari and champagne so that was nice of them.

Very special place
I took a very special person who has my heart out for her birthday dinner. Instead of ordering the traditional main courses we decided to go with a bunch of appetizers and the raw bar. Started off with the Lobster bisque with was to die for. We had numerous sushi rolls and the Teriyaki Filet Mignon Roll which was amazing. When the server came over with our Chilled Shellfish Castle we couldn't believe our eyes. It was four layers of 1 lb lobster, 5 jumbo shrimp, 8 oysters, 6 littleneck clams, 4 Louisiana crawfish,1/2 lb mussels, 3 Jonah crab claws, bay scallop ceviche sitting on crush ice with numerous sauces. Our server Kelli Ann was fantastic. We ended the meal with the sorbet.

Don't miss the brunch!!
Best to make a reservation, but can be seated, if you don't mind a wait. The pumpkin pancakes are the best ANYWHERE!! Applewood smoked bacon or sausage is an ala carte add-on. I had the bacon and it was delicious. Also comes with juice or mimosa, bellini, or bloody Mary and coffee/tea, Service was slow because there were not enough servers for the volume of customers. Servers are well-mannered and nice, though, so plan to be patient and not in a hurry to get your bill. Didn't need to eat the rest of the day!

I've seen better
I'm a huge fan of B.R. Guest Restaurants. however, I was a bit disappointed with Ocean Grill. The food was "eh", in contrast to Blue Water Grill. I had the sea bass and it was drenched in a soupy mess; the taste was gone after it all dissolved in the "soup". The service wasn't bad but then again, there weren't much people in the restaurant. I expected more but I ended up PAYING more than its worth.
