Outrageous drink prices!
After looking for a "decent" place to have a late lunch and a drink, the restaurant was quite cozy, a little "crowded" for us (8 people), but that's to be expected. A "round" of "shots", yes 1 round, and 1 appetizer for each, our bill was freaking over $200.00! They charged us $10.00 per shot! Need I say more! I know it's NY, but give me a freaking break! I would NEVER go back, there's too many nicer, more reasonable places to eat/drink!

excellent service
Very good food, staff was excellent. Bartender even gave us a buyback, rarely find buybacks in midtown. Prices were average. Ill recommend this place anytime.

Staff is wonderful
The food here is excellent. Generous portions, excellent value and presentation, and the service.....fantastic. The bartender was charming and attentive and brought such life to the bar. She alone is worth coming back to see. Great.

Lunch NY Style
I was on a trip to New York with my partner and visited O' Caseys for lunch and a quick drink. We were making the most of our day exploring 5th Ave and came across the bar and being Irish my partner couldnt wait for a good pint. He had a pint of the black stuff which was in his words "one of the best I have ever had out of Ireland". I stuck to a mineral water and we both had burger and fries for our meal. The food was delicious, just what we needed to boost us for the rest of the afternoon exploring NCY. The staff were all lovely and very friendly and service was prompt. There was a lovely atmosphere and as we were leaving it was getting busier and busier with people setteling down to their meals. I will definately be returning if I am lucky enough to get back to NY.

sloooow
atmosphere was a little nicer than your typical irish pub. do not get the onion soup...a huge disappointment. burgers are just ok. and they are very skimpy on the fries. i had maybe 8-10 fries on my plate. the service is very slow. took about 30-40 minutes for our burgers to come out.

same old pub food
I'll make this very simple and straight forward. The food was typical irish bar food (burgers, fries, blah blah blah). The bartender was good. That's its folks.
