Terrible delivery time
I ordered 3 tacos and have been waiting 1 hour and 45 minutes for my food and this place is 5 blocks from me. I've called 3 times. The first two times the guy said the delivery guy had left. When I called back the 3rd time he said that the delivery guy was just bagging up my order...when calling him out on this lie, he said "well we must have had another order on that street". Ridiculous. Offered me some free pico de gallo. Really helpful since that costs 5 cents to make and I already ordered a side with my meal.

Cold food
Came by for some tacos after a night of bar hopping on Smith St. and was excited to find fish tacos. Food came out and was absolutely cold. Not sure if they were serving me frozen food that didn't thaw or if they just didn't bother to heat it up.

Can't We All Just Get Along
Head to Oaxaca if you are looking for a quick tasty meal. It's your best bet for Mexican food in the neighborhood. If you can only stomach the absolute best, then head to Red Hook ball fields on Sundays. It's close by and they will set you straight.

good, far from amazing
I agree, this place is all and all better than most Mexican places that dot Smith and Court streets. But the menu is limited due to space so that is a small knock against them. Unfortunately, being better than a lot of the other junk, isn't an serious upgrade. The ingedients tend to be much better, but the food is still sort of bland, given the flavors they are trying to acheive, I had the tacos on two visits and different tortas at the counter and once delivery. Somehow the food is still gringo-ized, and lacks punch in most aspects. To be close to a great concept and to be so far away in execution was dissapointing, and for 9 dollar tortas it's another case of someone trying to reinvent ethnic/comfort food for yuppies that simply uneerwhelms and emptys your wallet.

Tacos!
Great spot for tacos in brooklyn. The pork tacos are to die for. Homemade horchata and hibiscus tea as well. Great atmosphere, great service, great location. Love this place.

great
To you guys complaining about food being cold...you must not have any concept of mexican food. This is the greatest tasting mexican food in the entire area. You want it hot?? Go to the restaurant and then see how the food and service is. Dont just sit your lazy butt at home and expect food to be sizzling hot!!! Its sad how people have become accustomed to getting food delivered to their homes and then complain about it.
