mediocre food, nice atmosphere
Food quality and flavor not as good as the popular chain. But they do offer brown rice, which is nice.

Great quality!
Love Oaxaca...basic Mexican food but the quality of the ingredients is what sets them apart. Where else can you get a filet mignon (grass fed) burrito for lunch in midtown?

so so for lunch
I came here for lunch because I was craving mexican food and people reviewed it really well. I was trying to stay away from chains b/c I wanted to try something different and be adventurous. But, this is second class compared to chain restaurants. I see why those places are popular. I got a naked chicken burrito. The chicken was really dry and practically flavorless. Only positives about this place are they have a lot of toppings/salsas for you to try and many different meat varieties. For flavor, I'd stick with the chain restaurants rather than come to this place.

Texan in Midtown
I am a Texan with a love of Mexican. That, of course, is easy to find at every corner at home. This spot wasn't too bad. I ordered 3 crispy corn tacos with grilled chicken. Pretty basic, I know, but that's how basic it gets here in NY for Mexican food. Service was fast, price was similar to the taste. Not bad at all just the chicken was dry. I am a hungry preggie hoping to find good Mexican food as my craving and this wasn't bad at all.

Eh...
Just another burrito place in New York that gets it wrong. This place didn't even have cilantro....how do you not have cilantro at a mexican place???

Great fast and fresh burritos!
The ingredients were high quality. The meats were MOIST and flavorful, unlike Chipotle and others. The sauces were dynamite - no really, spicy HOT and tasty! Service was courteous and them seemed to care.

Solid Mexican option
New place, just opened up offering great promotions. Very good, quick Mexican food. Better than Baja Fresh, on par with Chipotle, but shorter lines and possibly healthier. Had the filet mignon twice, burrito and taco. Everything is very filling, with fresh ingredients. Minimal seating inside, but plenty of tables outside. Fast, friendly service. Great value for a quick, filling Midtown lunch!
