Regular customer
I have been eating at this place for 5 years almost every friday and I love their food. We have our international friday dinner group every week and we order variety of food, it all turns out great. I eat the most of it. I dont know what these people are talking about writing all bad things. If they had a disappointing taste on that day doesnt mean the food is always subpar. Our group loves the place and its great service..

I went with two friends, and we each ordered sushi roll and Thai noodle. None of us liked our food. It was the most disappointing food we've ever had.

The service was slow, although my guest and I were the ONLY people in the restaurant. I ordered an apple martini-they made it with gin and put olives in it. Pad thai was bright red. Bland. Blah. I had a gift certificate which stated clearly I had to spend $35 minimum. They told me after eating we had to spend $45 because they decided to change it.

they no longer do all you can eat sushi
they used to do all you can eat for $24 and it was amazing. just found out they took this option off the menu. there is officially no longer any reason to go there, because the pad thai, while included in the all you can eat, is completely inedible.

Subpar Tai Food
I love Tai Food! My family and I wanted to have Tai dinner at the Tai Grill & Sushi Bar after a day visit to MoMA. We've eaten in many Tai restaurants and loved the food; however, the food that we tasted at the Thai Grill & Sushi Bar was not good. In fact, it was so ill prepared that, we thought an armature not a chef, or at least someone who knows how to cook, prepared it! For example, in one of the dishes the meat (beef), the most expensive dish on the menu, was extremely tough and overcooked, not to mention very gamey. It tasted old! This food just spoiled our day. Had we tried eating Tai food for the first time in our lives there at NY Grill & Sushi Bar, we would have had a major distaste for Tai food!

I'd rather starve
I can't speak for the entire menu; however, the Pad Thai was very bad.

Do not order from here
I am a big pad thai eater. Usually I order pad thai from Spice (which I highly recommend for pad thai), however, no Spice location delivered to the apartment that I was at. I looked up the reviews on menupages and thought that the review saying the pad thai noodles were neon was an exaggeration so, I decided to purchase shrimp pad thai anyway. IT WAS NOT AN EXAGGERATION!! The pad thai noodles were NEON ORANGE! In addition, the food was not mixed together and it had no flavor whatsoever. It seems as if the noodles were steamed, mixed with neon orange food coloring, put in a dish with crushed peanuts and bean sprouts on the side, with precooked shrimp tossed in. DO NOT ORDER PAD THAI FROM THIS PLACE! You will be disappointed.
