for a first timer the food was perfect, for 2 we ordered the 3 layer pork belly and the bulgogi, the pork in the sesame oil was yum but the bulgogi was the most tender and well marinated meat it melt like butter..............most of all i loved the sides(banchan),being a seafood luva , the octopus in broccoli and sweet sauce was my fav....all in all the service was quick efficient, and friendly, even though they wouldn't speak much eng....(they even changed the coal grill to quicken )the food was the best communication we needed,we even asked for an extra side (the octopus ofcourse).........with 2 beers and green tea...65$ wasn't too much for a meal for 2 in NY.

Recently went with a couple of friends for lunch. The exterior of the restaurant gave me a false lead to hospitable nature inside the restaurant. The food was great, the service was well attentive and the prices were just right. I recommend this place for anyone looking for well prepared well priced Korean food. Second thought, it could use one more waitress, just a thought.

My husband and I have never had Korean BBQ before and the waiter was extremely helpful in helping us choose the dishes and once the food arrived, showed us what we should do with wrapping the meat in the lettuce etc. Food was extremely yummy and the side dishes were generous and tasty. Definitely recommend this place!

Had an amazing birthday party here. If you go to the second floor you can get a private room for you and your buddies at no extra cost and the service here was incredible. Everytime my friends and family mention a birthday party they always bring up mine at NY Kom Tang and how great the food and staff was.

One should note that they only deliver 2 blocks from their restaurant. So it's not really considered delivery.

Having travelled extensively in Asia, the real Korean food is cooked over a wood coal BBQ. KomTang offers that, unlike the gas flames in most of little Korea. Bottom line, the wood makes the food taste better.. Its a nice place, great place for families, and if you have a business card, leave it with the Mgr, and he'll give you a "Gold Card" that will give you a 10% discount and a 50% off Parking pass to the Garage next door. This could become your families favorite place for dinner in the city....
