Best Place to get Dosas (unless it's thunderstorming)
I LOVE NY Dosas! This cart is not only one of the few places to get dosas downtown, but they are affordable. The owner is not only friendly, but has also been extremely friendly to my little one when she didn't know what a dosa was. (Since then, she looks forward to days off of school when we can get dosas) The only drawback is lunchtime when there is a line (but you can call your order in ahead) or on extremely rainy days since it is an outdoor food cart and Washington Square Park, seemingly under permanent construction, offers no place to sit or be sheltered from the elements.
