I stop ordering from this place because their delivery went south. The wait is always at least 45 min (we are literally down the block) and the food arrives cold. not to mention there is ALWAYS an error with the order or missing utensils. Our department got tired of all the discrepancies and simply stop ordering.

Now that Fairway is open on 2nd Ave. Prices there are much more reasonable for lunch then Bagel Cafe. Might want to adjust to be more competitive.

if you want to eat from here NEVER DELIVER - i always order plain egg salad on a bagel and have never received it in less than 45 minutes. It always comed 45 minutes later and soggy. Do not deliver!

Great bagels. Fair prices. But delivery has become to hard to swallow. Bacon, egg and cheese takes an hour to be dropped of less then 2 blocks away. Then when it finally comes it is soggy and cold. what I have learned is they make the hot sandwich and then it sits there until the store traffic dies down. Then they address delivery orders. Unacceptable that I have had a cold BEC the last 5 times.

I have had many salads for lunch in my life but I must say this place makes the best salads I've ever tasted. Their ingredients are always fresh and the staff are so friendly. Also it's extremely convenient if you work at NYU medical center and they even deliver to hospital floors and rooms on the rainiest days!

This place is awesome, if you need to take a quick lunch, but want a homemade sandwich with fresh ingredients made on the spot. I was surprised at how good this unassuming place is. It is excellent value! and good for people on a budget as well. I love their bagel sandwich options.

I live nearby and love NY Bagels. The staff is extremely nice and the orders are taken care of quickly.. until now. On weekends, instead of ordering directly with the cook, another employee takes orders down on paper and adds it to a queue. Every time they do this, they completely screw up my order which is amazing (since it's on paper). I don't know why but this new system sucks and it removes the opportunity to chat with the staff.. it's more of an assembly line now. Go back to the old ordering system guys or I'll have to go elsewhere!
