    Excellent

The service here is efficent - nothing more, nothing less. The food is excellent. This is New York, so get a bit of a backbone, and go enjoy some excellent cream cheese and bagels!

    Good Food, Poor Service

The food here is yummy- a little pricey, but good all around. However, the service is poor. Every time I go I seem to get a bit of an attitude- no smile, no thank-you, nothing. Like they'd rather not be serving me. And I'm there enough to be considered a "regular"- most other places I frequent know my name, my "usual", etc...I don't think the people at Nussbaum ever will. Too bad, really, since they are such a big part of the neighborhood. A little bit of pleasantness can go a long way...

    Poor Service

The food isn't bad and not too pricey, but the service is not good. One time I waited at the counter over 15 minutes to get a pre-made sandwich when there were 3 workers standing around and there were no other customers in line in front of me. When I asked the guys "Where's my sandwich," they started to trash-talk about me to each other in a different language...they didn't realize I understood their language. Big mistake.

    Convenient

The place is right below where I live which is the only reason why I frequent it. The service can be unpleasant, I get the wrong order every so often, the prices keep rising, and a lot of it is more expensive than its counterparts down the street (you can get the same panini for $2 less at HamDel). The bagels are decent but getting any spread other than plain cream cheese is way too expensive.

    Lines

No one can figure out the lines in this place. But who cares? I love love love the make-you-own salad station.

    Teacher - High School

Nusbaum and Wu's service is fine - sure, it can take a little while, but everytime I've been there (regularly over the last three years), the guys behind the counter are working, usually rather quickly. No, they aren't chatty, but I have never had them be rude to me.

    Not That Great

I think Nussbaum and Wu is overrated. Ever since Columbia Hot Bagels closed, this is pretty much the only decent bagel place nearby, but their food is overpriced and the service kind of slow. The bagels themselves are okay. There's really nothing special other than proximity to Columbia dorms.
