Poor Cake/Great Counter Service
Nussbaum and Wu has really friendly service, but their desserts are pretty subpar. They look delicious and very appetizing in the display case, but they do not taste good at all. The chocolate was also of low quality...I don't know if their other foods are good, but the desserts are not good.

Eh
I disagree with the raters who say the service is so great; the workers don't speak a lot, and they rush you, so its hard to say if they really want to get to know their customers. Also, the unlimited topping salad: it is a pretty good deal, yet the toppings aren't all that fresh. I got green and red peppers in my salad yesterday and they were browned on the edges, and the grilled chicken was a bit undercooked, and not all white meat. All in all, I was dissapointed in my food, but will probably go back because it is convenient, fast, and a pretty good bargain.

Best bagel-egg-&-cheese... but that's it
Nussbaum has poor service... The food is subpar, but they do have the best bagel, egg and cheese I have had in NYC. It is so good but nothing else is really that good, except for the the Scallion Tofu spread on a toasted bagel. Avoid the desserts.... they look good but taste like they have been sitting there for a bit.

No thanks
I used to eat here when I was a Columbia student several years ago. I just ordered a burger - it didi not taste good. And the tiramisu was completly generic. I will not go back there again...

Nussbaum: What we get out of bed for.
We'd highly reccomend the everything bagel (toasted) with plain cream cheese. We get it dailly. Literally. It is unlike any other baked good. Also, the tuna-melt is delicious (post-cupcakes). The service is the best we've found in New York. The employees take the time to get to know you, and if you're a regular remember your order. The only bummer is the interior design and the fellow customers who aren't patient enough to realize that Nussbaum bagels are truly divine eats and thus require a wait.

Not Good
Nussbaum is always overrated by columbia students. They all seem to love it. The workers always skimp on salad ingredients and they never seem to get my order right. They also love to give me other people's bagels. Everyone there just works so quickly that they mess up every order. Go somewhere else because Nussbaum may be convenient but they are not good.

Best Salads in Manhattan!
How great is unlimitted salad toppings for about $7.50 (plus you get a free mini-bagel on the side)? The toppings are great! The dressings are great! Their croutons (the baseline for a salad place for me) taste like mini garlic bread toasts from heaven. The produce is always fresh! Their chicken always tastes moist and delicious! They take debit/credit cards, love that! They have an amazing line of baked goods and some of the best bagels on the planet! Love this place!
