Best Bagels in NYC.
Nussbaum has the best bagels in new york,. Theyre crunchy on the outside, soft and wonderful on the inside. They also have an amazing salad bar with anything you could imagine to put into your salad all for one price. Can't beat the freshly made smoothies either. Overall, a great place for a quick meal or snack any time of day!

relax
To grab a bagel and coffee and rest tired legs and mind... a pleasant experience with reasonable prices... close to Columbia U, so quite a few college students to refresh the eyes... the service is good and the cashier is very helpful and friendly

Overpriced for the quality
I have been to Nussbaum and Wu a number of times and tried their bagels, their coffees, paninis and sandwiches. This place is nothing special. You can find much better bagels elsewhere and their paninis and sandwiches are just overpriced for the quality. Overall, aside from their location near CU, I don't think there is anything special about this place.

Try the Scones and Bagels
I live a few blocks from this friendly bakery and stop by regularly. The counter staff is all smiles and cheerful conversation. Their bagels are the best, and I occasionally indulge in one of their buttery raisin scones. While mainly a grab-and-go kind of place, the indoor seating area is light and airy, with an academic feel (lots of students on laptops or reading).

Great bagels, amazing service!
If you miss out on Sharon, the morning cashier, you've missed the whole Nussbaum experience. The bagels are great and desserts sinful, but the real gem is the lady behind the counter who is unfailingly smiling, friendly, and keeps things running smoothly even amidst the morning coffee rush. If you're looking for a place in NYC where you can say "the usual" and feel at home, this is it!

Good for a bagel on the run
I really like Nussbaum and Wu for their bagels and spread, and the paninis. You could probably get a similar panini other places, but these are pretty good and served warm and melty. They also have an excellent selection of drinks and a pretty darn good salad bar! N & W probably isn't the best deli in NYC, but they're pretty good for the CU area and great for a bagel and coffee in the morning.

Please
I went to this place for a chocolate chip cookie. While I don't remember the counter service as anything more then functioning (I got the cookie, they got the money), I know that the atmosphere was nonexistent and the outdoor area was uninviting. The cookie was one of those hard, made-a-week-ago-tasting large discs. Without CU this place would have been gone long ago..
