Being new to the area I popped in there on a moments notice. Although really small , with about 10 tables, the food was fresh and quite delicious. Really enjoyable meal and inexpensive. I will definitely go again.

The best deal around for high quality sushi- excellent shrimp tempura roll and the raw fish is always very very fresh. Love this place.

While it is true that the wait to pick up is long and unorganized, the sushi is excellent. I eat here at least twice a week and have not had a bad sushi experience yet.

You would think if you order prior to going there, your food will be ready for pickup by the time you get there. This place makes you wait a minimum of 30mins before your food is ready. Does it really take 30 mins for 2 rolls? Also, their rolls are stuffed with rice with a little piece of fish. I rather walk a little further to get better quality sushi and faster service.

Since they closed down Kokura, I decided to try this place for lunch. I had the lunch box special-beef negamaki. I am quite disappointed on the quality of the beef. First they burnt the beef, cali roll was falling apart. Come on, how can u mess up sushi??? Salad looks like it was sitting there since over the weekend. Atmosphere is ok but food is not what i expected since Kokura was sooooooo much better.

Great local place for sushi and cooked Japanese, but call 30 min in advance for takeout b/c waits are killer!

I am an frequent sushi eater and have eaten at the top sushi restaurants not only in nyc but throughout the world. This place definitely is a hide gem in the FiDi . The fish quality is consistently top notch and the service is more the satisfactory for a small place. The key to this place is that during the day many business people order out or pick up food which ensure quick fish turn over which means fresher fish more often. From someone who lives in Fidi this is a GREAT CHEAP sushi place guaranteed to please everytime!
