My friend and I had dinner here last night after seeing a show right around the corner, and it was perfect! It wasn't very crowded, being a Tuesday night at 9:00 and all. We picked up a bottle of cheap wine from the Food Emporium, so in total we each paid about $15 for the meal... amazing!! Their food was delicious, I had the chicken with chive potatoes and I had to keep from licking my plate. He had the burger which looked great, and had these wonderful rosemary fries, mmmm. I will definitely go back next time I'm in that area! It's cash only, don't forget.

Cramped room but devine food. Couldn't have been happier. Oh those home fries!

I went here Friday February 16th at 6:30pm with my husband. We were the 1st to arrive but by 7:15, every table was occupied. The place is tiny! The food is unbelieveable. We had the mushroom cogars and lamb. So delicious. No corkage fee, we brought champagne. It is so nice that they have all the different glasses available for champagne, red, or white wines. For dessert we had the peanut butter pie, so rich and delicious. I have no complaints, I loved it and will be back. Just make sure to make reservations!

The food is super (we had hamburgers with delicious rosemary fries, the tuna sashimi salad, and potato pancakes with lox) and really affordable. The coffee was good as well. They are also BYOB, so we enjoyed a bottle as well, a deal even with $12 corkage. Service was excellent--our waiter was really sweet and efficient. The atmosphere is lovely as well--as its name suggests, Nook is very cosy space with simple tables and banquettes, and an old-fashioned many-paned window that lets in sunlight. It's definitely going to become my regular brunch spot.

Last night's dinner was beautifully prepared and absolutely delicious. The service was attentive and cordial. Prices were very reasonable, and the corkage, at $0, contributed to its being an inexpensive evening. While it is not near our neighborhood, we will be going back regularly. Since it is a small room, we must be courteous to those planning to eat later, and not linger.

We stumbled in here after a recommendation from a friend, and we were impressed from the beginning. Loved the fact that it was BYOB (we brought a nice red wine), and that everything from our appetizer of mushroom cigars with adrizzle of truffle oil to our perfectly cooked steak frites, chicken and lamb chops was nothing but delicious. The perfect neighborhood place. Anytime we're in the neighborhood, Nook will be our go-to dinner destination. And even though it's cash only and a tiny room, the prices and the quality of the food make it all worthwhile.

Small, adorable place. Love that it's BYOB. Good food. Average service, but friendly enough. We go regularly now and will continue to go back!
