    Prime lunchtime spot

The perfect to-go pasta place. Their price is their biggest sell. It's hard to come by a pasta place that's quick and cheap. This does the job. Great variety of pasta sauces, unorthodox (but good) toppings, and nice people.

eat Nooï and stay slim: thanks!

I don’t know about you guys but I’m a pasta lover and a carb hater. There’s nothing better than a nice warm cup of pasta on cold day. I’m just always afraid that the pasta will make me put on weight (especially during the winter months!) so I’ve stayed away from eating pasta everyday. But the other day I found something really interesting out when I was talking to the guy who runs Nooi. Did you know that eating pasta that is cooked al dente is actually good for you? And that if can help you slim down? If you’re squinting your eyes re-reading what I just wrote I can’t blame you (because I made the same face.) But in fact, if you have pasta that is cooked al dente (i.e. slighting firm-not mushy) the pasta has a lower glycemic index value in the mid 20’s meaning that it is lower in sugar and higher in good carbs. Plus if you have multigrain pasta it’s even better for you. I checked everything out online and it checks out. So I guess I can have my pasta and eat it too now!

    Quick and Tasty

Love this place for a quick bit to eat. Especially as we are going into the winter months. Everything is really affordable and worth the price. Enough pasta for a serving and a half for $6.50. Not bad.

    Fast, Easy, Cheap, and Fun

I stopped by Nooi after passing the place at least 20 times on the way to work every day. The food was great. They guy at the register is really cool and funny. I have to say that they probably have the nicest staff in Midtown. Try the baconara. With parm and mozzerella it's amazing.

    Excellent pasta and great place

Well, I stopped by at Nooi and I was ntrigued by the place and the idea of pasta to go: the restaurant has a kind of Californian flavor in the look and feel and the team is REALLY welcoming. I had a Carbonara in a funny purple cup that kept my pasta warm and it was cooked perfectly al dente and delicious. All this for a few bucks. .. Just excellent!

    Great quick lunch

I can be very picky when it comes to pasta, I prefer a fresh, simple sauce and Nooi fits the bill. The tomato fresca was perfectly simple and the price was great. A generous portion of pasta and a drink for just over $6. The only thing that would make it better for the money would be if you could choose the cut of pasta. But all in all, this was a great, quick lunch in midtown.

    Decent food in midtown

Is it the best pasta I've ever had? No, but for pasta-to-go, and at these affordable prices, it's a great place to grab a quick lunch in the otherwise barren food area known as midtown. The service is friendly, the packaging is cute, and yes, the pasta is more than decent. I'd recommend the vodkaya!
