Average Food - Below Average Service

Food so-so much better avail in the city and at a better price. If you want a challenge try ordering by phone, they need to put a translator on thier payroll to understand your order. VERY frustrating and VERY ignorant lady answering the phone.

    Best Basil Chicken dish..

If you're into spices and legumes then their chicken and basil dish served on a bed of rice is probably the best in the LES. Also try their egg drop soup with scallion, fresh light yellow soup rather than the dark yellow brine you get from ordinary take outs in the city. Bonne apetite.

    So so

I have been ordering from this place for a while but I always find the phone ordering tad bit annoying. In-house service, otherwise is average, not bad, but nowhere near excellent. Food is not bad if you compared to it's price, which is typical inexpensive chinese menus - I wouldn't call it quality food. I like the new place they have moved to. the atmosphere has been upgraded from typical mass chinese restaurant. Just a casual chinese restaurant for a quick bite with friends or by yourself. Nothing impressive, cheap food, average service. average atmosphere

    Quality Chinese

The food here is a bit more expensive then other Chinese places in the neighborhood, but it is definatly worth the few bucks more. It is Quality... You don't feel gross, and greesy after eating, and the portions are big. You can easily have half for dinner, and the other half the next day. Love the Egg Drop soup, steamed dumplings, cold peanut butter noodles... YUM!

    Stick to the Chinese Food

I have always thought prices were higher here than other chinese restuarants, but felt it was worth it because of the quality. Tonight I ordered the Vietnemese spring rolls for the first time. They were not good at all. I have since decided to stick with the chinese, as that is the restaurants specialty. Love the chicken and shrimp dumplings and also the crab rangoon. I had delivery and they got my order wrong, but were back quickly with the right food.

    Best Dumplings in Town

Live right down the block, always order from this joint. The dumpling rock, best in town. NO JOKE!

    Better on 29th

Now that Noodles 28 moved into a new space, the food seems to taste that much better.. Perhaps the new and clean environment helped inprove the quality and taste. Great neighborhood chinese!
