I ordered from here for the first time, and I will try it again. The delivery was fairly fast. The serving sizes were good. The tofu/veg dish with lemongrass and chili sause was good and spicy. I was really excited to order the veggie peeking duck because I don't eat meat. The duck was soaked in oil, totally unhealthy, and had very little (to no) taste. I can't imagine this is how it always is, or it wouldn't be on the menu (I would hope). I will try this place again because they have a lot of veggie options. The person on the phone was curt, almost rude, but efficient.

Otherwise unremarkable meal topped off with unwrapped fortune cookies accompanying the check. We wonder what else was sitting around "unwrapped" in the kitchen besides the fortune cookies. Won't go back.

I ordered food at 5:52pm, and it was delivered to my apartment at 6:03pm! I have no idea how they pulled it off. The food was fantastic--especially the steamed vegetable dumplings and chicken udon. Oh, and the fortune cookies had a nice orange twist.

As you can tell from the other reviews, the overall food quality here is very good. I only order in from here, and yes my girlfriend always asks ME to place the orders because she has trouble with the phone style. But bear in mind, this is just STYLE, not rudeness. They take your number, confirm your address, and ask what you want; there is no small talk. With the number of orders they take on a daily basis, if they spent an extra 30 seconds chatting with every customer you would be on hold endlessly! They never put you on hold; just take your order, get it into production, and move on to the next. Love Noodles 28, and never order from anywhere else for this kind of fare!

I love this place because the food is always good and cooked exactly to order. The waitresses are extremely friendly and very observant; I've never had to ask for a refill of my water or for an extra set of chopsticks. When the owners are there, they remember my name, my friends and family (and this after only a couple of visits) and are always welcoming. I've never ordered by phone but wonder if the "rudeness" is just a matter of difficulty with understanding.

I've never had a bad tel experience. They address me by my first name - very friendly. Been ordering from Noodles 28 for over 5 yrs. Have tried other cheaper Chinese places but you get what you pay for. Prefer to pay a little more for better quality of poultry and meat. Luv the eggrolls, too.

Unfortunately I like this food - but every time I have to order from the b*tchy women on the phone it makes me regret the fact that I crave an egg roll and hot and sour soup. If you need to pay by credit card - you might need to YELLLLL it in the phone before they hang up on you after you finish the last syllable of you order. Just an FYI. But...nice eggroll.
