Once you get past the good looks of this place, you're already past all it's good points!
I came here with 2 friends for dinner around 9pm on a Friday night a few weeks ago. We ordered a good variety of appetizers, sushi, and noodle dishes. No one was impressed with the quality or flavor of the food. The pad thai was exceptionally unflavorful and not authentic. The restaurant was very loud and the service was shoddy. We had our food brought out at inconsistent times which had us all at finishing dinner at totally different times. I would not go back.

enjoyable and good value
While we're not Sushi connoisseurs (and we didn't order any) we enjoyed the Edamame and the Bangkok Drumsticks as appetizers as well as the Tofu Salad and the Massaman Beef Curry for our entrees. That plus 2 cocktails each totalled only $50. My wife, the tightwad, said this might be her new favorite restuarant.

Subpar Food
Don't bother if you're looking for good tasting Asian or even fusion food. The place is always packed so people are there for the scene, not the food.

Go for the noodles; skip the sushi
Nooch is always packed to the gills, and the Menupages reviews are generally favorable, so my Mrs. and I decided to give it a try. When we arrived, every table in the restaurant was occupied; we waited at the bar for a little while. It was a good thing we arrived when we did because a cast of thousands poured into Nooch a few minutes after a genial waiter seated us. (Note: the table nearest the door is to be avoided on a cold night because the draft from the front door is bit stiff.) We ordered a few different types of sushi rolls and the beef in black pepper sauce with udon noodles. The sushi was entirely unremarkable. The fish quality was not especially good, and we agreed that the sushi chef was not a virtuoso of the sushi arts. The noodles, in contrast, were quite enjoyable. I wish the menu had mentioned that the dish included red and green peppers (to which I am allergic), but I plucked them out and pushed them to the side of the plate. The black pepper sauce had a bit of kick; the beef chunks were neither fatty nor rubbery; the udon noodles (always a hit with me; I love pasta, udon, noodles, lukshen, etc.) were on target. We will return for the noodles, good service and a casual dining experience; we'll go elsewhere for raw fish.

its nothing special
Its always very disappointing when a few main items on the menu are" NOT AVAILABLE TODAY"....overall, the food was just"ok"(not bad, not great). The service, wasn't bad(but maybe that is do to the fact that it was around 3pm on a sunday)lol. Check it out, maybe you'll get lucky with your ordered items.
