I am on a quest to find a nice place to eat in the '30s. I was hoping that this would be it, but I was wrong. I read all the reviews, brought two of my friends along and we all agreed that the food was average and one visit was enough. We were reluctant to go in in the first place, since the place was deserted, and the decor left much to be desired. (In fact, we were the decor, since not a single customer joined us all night!) The same goes for the food, as well: one of my friends ordered the flounder filet, which was a bit "too fishy," and the other had a mediocre vegetable plate. My grilled salmon with steamed vegetables was so-so, as well: the salmon was too oily as well as too dry for my taste, while the vegetables (carrot and broccoli) came absolutely cold (probably straight out of the freezer). On the other hand, our appetizer of shrimp shumai turned out to be fine, even though the dumplings were thrown hastily onto the plate and didn't look too appetizing. Honestly, I felt bad for having dragged my friends to a place which may remember its neighbors and may deliver food promptly but is, on balance, a waste of time and money.

I was very suprised to read the above reviews which state that delivery took close to 2 hours. I've never waiting longer than 20 for my food, and it's often come in 15 min. I live only 2 blocks away but still... And the delivery men have always been polite. This is fresh, decent sushi at a great price!

I've ordered from here during the work day (but well before and after the rush), and the food unfailingly takes well over an hour (or an hour and a half to arrive...or two hours). Today I ordered at noon, and it is now 1:47 and I'm still awaiting the sushi. Every time I call, they assure me it will be here within 5 minutes. That was 45 minutes ago. I will not order take-out from them again. Two hours is too long to wait for a california roll!

Never been to the restaurant but ordered in many times. Always tasty. No complaints.

The fish of the sushi was very fresh and clean..and I try the chef's special roll was very great.. I'm recommed his chef's special roll

This is a nice neighborhood place that remembers its customers from visit to visit. They are very pleasant, and the food is good for the price.

We ordered delivery. Delivery took over an hour, and this was on a quiet Tuesday evening at around 8pm. Delivery is supposedly free, and I tipped the guy 10%, despite the delivery being over an hour late, he gave me a cold stare, as I was closing the door, he shouted four letter expletives, then slamming the bottom apartment door shut. Service and delivery.. worst score. The food itself was not good either. The chicken teriyaki was dry and all white meat. The salmon teriyaki was dry as well, and had a strong fishy taste. The only thing that was decent was the salad, which was larger than expected. I would definitely NOT recommend this place AT ALL.
