    Simply the Best

Excellent food and service. The tasting menu was amazing. You have to try Nobu at least once. The best sushi ever!

    Going downhill

The service I experienced was appalling despite ordering $120 tasting menu. It is a shame that such good food is managed so badly. If you want the experience you think this restaurant is going to offer - go to Bond Street - much more discreet & discerning.

    Beyond all expectations

First off, this was the most expensive meal I have ever had. That being said, if you are prepared to cough up the green, you should go to Nobu at least once in your life. The tasting menu is the way to go. We had the $100 per person option, which was 3 cold courses, 2 hot courses, a sushi and miso soup course and dessert. The courses were small, but perfectly spaced and proportioned. Each and every bite made me think that I never knew how food was supposed to taste. The decadance of lobster tempura! The surprising delight of black Alaskan cod with foie gras! Simply amazing. The service was absolutely perfect. Our waiter explained each and every dish without a hint of pretension. We weren't rushed and the timing of the dishes added to the overall experience. The architecture is pretty spectacular too. Absolutely lives up to the hype.

    Japanese-Peruvian Flavor

Great restaurant . I had no idea that the plates had Peruvian influence (the chef lived in Peru). If you like to try more Peruvian plates, I recommend PIO PIO on 90 st where the prices are insignificant.

    Your tastebuds will thank you

Had a selection of various hot and cold dishes - everything was excellent. The "squid pasta" and miso cod more than live up to their hype. The green salad with tuna was perfect. The sushi is also great, however I can have great sushi in a number of places, but I will come back here for the incredible hot dishes. (The only downside is drunken businessmen on expense accounts sitting next to you)

    Lives up to the hype

One of the best dining experiences I've ever had - without a doubt. This place is the gold standard. There were two of us & we shared every dish: yellowtail sashimi with jalapeno, rock shrimp tempura, shrimp & lobster with spicy lemon sauce, black cod with miso, and the bento box for dessert. All absolutely delicious, and it was the perfect amount of food (not stuffed, but pleasantly satisfied). We each had a couple cocktails & the bill came to about $150 - worth every penny. When in search of a culinary treat, look no further.

    Mortgage your house...It's worth it.

Nobu continues to be the reigning king of japanese food - bar none. Highly recommend the Black Cod with Miso and the Rock Shrimp. Nobu can work these two dishes into their chefs specials which is food nirvana....A MUST.
