Nobi Sushi (fka Toyo Sushi)

Fish wasn't of the best quality - only ate 3/4 of the meal I had delivered because the quality/smell of the fish delivered. Beautiful presentation - just not great taste.

I was about to write a review about how small the portions have got, especially the Lunch Specials, and I now see that another recent customer/reviewer has written the same below. I agree it is a shame, as it was also my 'go to Sushi Joint'!

I usually frequent this restaurant 2 or 3 times a week but on the past two occasions the "Sushi Lunch Special" potions have been so small that I think I'll be looking for a new favorite in the area. Such a shame!

After wandering up and down 3rd Ave. for about 20 minutes, my boyfriend and I settled on Nobi, and it was great! The service was quick and efficient (our water glasses were never empty) and we were in and out in just about an hour. The food was fresh and delicious and the prices were definitely fair. They offer a varied selection of special rolls along with all of the classics. We spent just under $60 for edamame, miso soup, house salad, sushi roll, special roll and a combination dinner.

Very solid sushi/japanese food. I love the soups that they offer as a great change of pace from sushi. I have never been there so I couldnt give a 5 for atmosphere but they are always fast on delivery and nice on the phone.

I have always loved another sushi restaurant but sometimes 'shop around' only to return there. This time I think this is my new favorite! I had the Sushi Deluxe and it was very good and very fresh. I'll be back for sure and it may even become my new regular sushi joint in the neighbourhood!

Amazing. Fresh sushi, fast delivery. Pink Lady Roll is my favorite.
