    subpar chinese

not usually picky when it comes to chinese food but this was really bad.... both the sesame chicken and string beans had a strange flavor and were greasy

We finally found great chinese take-out!

No. 1 is everything you could ever want in a Chinese take-out restaurant. It is cheap, delicious, and they will many any order without corn starch or oil. It is best never to walk into the actual restaurant, but there is really no need. It is consistently the best Chinese take-out restaurant.

    Basic Chinese Food standby

I've been going to this place for years. I've never had anything bad from there. Everything that I've ever ordered is what I've expected from chinese take out places. The wonton soup though is one of the best i've ever had, that actually has some flavor to it. My usuals are the sesame chicken, shrimp and broccoli, and beef chow fun. They've never disappointed. The place is not a nice place to look at, but its def a take out place so you really can't complain too much. They've been serving fine food to me for the past 5+ years that i've been getting food there.

Good food for a good price

I'm surprised that there are bad reviews here. This is much better than any other cheap chinese restaurant I have ever eaten at. The food is good - and they are very accomodating of special requests. Try the veggie dumplings or scallion pancakes. They are excellent. I wouldn't say it's the best chinese food I have had - but it is very tasty and also inexpensive.

Good for a quick hunger fix...

Although this restaurant has been in the neighborhood forever, don't expect much. This is really a take-out place, although it has three tables for sitting in. I almost always order the same thing because it's safe (Beef or shrimp Chow Fun). Their chicken with broccoli (or any other veg.) has a bit of a funny taste ("doesn't taste like chicken") and a funny feel-in-the-mouth to it. Just order the regular fried or baked chicken or chicken wings.
