Just got home from Nirvana. This is the best Indian food I've had after 33 years living in NYC. It's more expensive than your typical East Village joint, but the quality, decor, and service at Nirvana is on a whole other level. Highly recommended.

We LOVE this place! It doesn't matter if we go there to eat or we get take out - their food is heaven everytime we eat it. It's our new favorite place in the area.

The atmosphere is soothing and the staff are very polite and attentive. The food is excellent especially lamb chops and saag paneer. The specialty drinks are very tasty and have a nice balance and match the food excellently.

Four of went for dinner. We had 5 entrees between us and every one was great. The chicken tika masala was spectacular. Drinks are very pricy. Drink before you get there.

If you are willing to put up with uneven service you will be rewarded with the best Indian food in the city. The appetizers are delicious and come in huge portions, the lamb chops are the absolute best I have ever had. Nice dining room as well as lively bar scene downstairs.

I went for the Lunch Buffet with a friend for my birthday. I really enjoyed the food & atmosphere. I would definitely go again.
