I typically don't rate restaurants but I was pleasantly surprised to find a great place near MSG. Quality food and good wine

The food was good, but the service was poor. There was no one around when needed, and when they came, they would leave just as quickly as they appeared. As we arrived, the two hostesses were gossiping, and ignoring us (the barista had to tell them we were waiting). We went for the brunch, and had a very good mimosa. When our waiter asked if we wanted seconds, we said 'sure' as we thought they were complimentary. Turns out, when we get the check, 3 small mimosas are a total of $24. Disappointed with the service.

Niles never lets me down. I have eaten here several times and am always satisfied. The service is wonderful and they have a great atmosphere.I love the penne dish, the cheese plate for 2 is more than satisfying ( my boyfriend couldn't even finish his burger) which was juicy and Delicious. As a matter of fact I think I'll order some lunch today. :)

I went for lunch with friends, and while the prices weren't unreasonable, the food was not good. Only one person at my table seemed to enjoy what they had, and nobody ordered anything that seemed complicated (salads and sandwiches). The staff that was higher up kept checking in on us to ask if we were enjoying our meal, while the waiters were rude. It was better than most of the places in the area (we were limited by people needing to be by Penn Station) but I will not be returning.

After a hellish afternoon in the naked city I joined a group of friends before catching the railroad home and we loved this place! The cocktails are great, the service is excellent and the food is very good. It is an excellent change from the all the fast joints in the area. You 'll get a good meal for a reasonable price. The place was surprising relaxed and pleasant for the location.

If you are attending an event at Madison Square Garden, this is the place to have dinner. There is nothing in the neighborhood that compares. The food is just great and there is a wide variety, service is wonderful and it is moderately priced. Very nice bar area as well. I've gone many times with friends and we've never been disappointed.
